Most students who come to SSA live in the dormitories with their teachers. Students who live near Colgate, however, have the unique opportunity of engaging in the program as non-residential students for a significant reduction in tuition.

How does the day program work/what does it include?
Day program students come to SSA at 8:15 every morning and go home at 9:45 pm every night. They participate in the full slate of academic and social programming: they attend class, take proctored tests, and compete in vocabulary and SAT games; beyond the SAT, they play sports with their peers, engage in games like capture the flag, quiz bowl, and debate, and select from a catalog of electives like Songwriting, Drawing, Yoga, Environmental Science and Philosophy.
Day program students will be required to attend proctored tests (which are on Saturdays) and test return/review sessions and coaching meetings (on Sunday evenings).
What does Day Program tuition include?
Lunch and dinner on weekdays and Saturdays
Brunch and dinner on Sundays
All academic and non-academic activities and book/curricular fees
No additional spending money is necessary
How do I hold my spot?
Make a 20% deposit (non-refundable)
When is full tuition due?
April 1, 2019
What if I register after April 1, 2019?
Tuition payment is required in full with registration after April 1, 2019
Do you offer financial aid?
Financial aid is limited, but does exist - apply early to get the aid before it runs out! There is an application (similar to the CSS Profile)

What is the connection between SSA and Yleana?
SSA takes place on the same campus as the Yleana Leadership Academy, and Alyssa Bowlby is heavily involved in both programs.
